1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and ReelNovella ("ReelNovella," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of reelnovella.com and related ReelNovella services (collectively, the "Service").

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a business or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to create a paid account or purchase a subscription. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

We may refuse or terminate access where use of the Service would violate applicable law or these Terms.

3. The ReelNovella Service

ReelNovella provides digital entertainment content, including short-form video novellas, episodes, images, text, and related materials. Some content may be available without payment, while other content may require an active paid subscription.

The catalog, episode availability, release schedule, features, design, and functionality of the Service may change over time. We do not guarantee that any particular title, episode, feature, or item of content will remain available indefinitely.

4. Accounts and Account Security

You may be required to create an account to access certain features or paid content. You must provide accurate information and keep your account information reasonably up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity performed through your account. You may not sell, transfer, rent, or share account access in a manner intended to avoid subscription limits or access controls.

5. Free Content and Premium Access

ReelNovella may make selected episodes or other content available for free. Premium episodes and features are available only while the relevant subscription or access entitlement is active.

A subscription grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access eligible premium content through the Service. It does not transfer ownership of any content or intellectual property to you.

6. Subscriptions, Renewal, and Cancellation

Paid plans are offered on the terms, billing interval, and price shown at checkout. Unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.

You authorize recurring charges for each renewal period until cancellation. You can cancel your subscription through the account or billing management options made available to you, including the Lemon Squeezy customer portal where applicable.

When a subscription is canceled, future renewal charges stop. Unless otherwise stated at checkout or required by law, premium access continues until the end of the billing period that has already been paid for and then expires.

We may change subscription prices or plan features prospectively. Where required, we will provide notice before a price change applies to a future renewal.

7. Payments and Lemon Squeezy

Payments for paid ReelNovella products and subscriptions are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy acts as Merchant of Record for transactions processed through its checkout and is responsible for payment processing and applicable transaction taxes in accordance with its own terms and policies.

At checkout, you may also be subject to Lemon Squeezy terms, privacy notices, and payment-provider requirements. The final price, billing interval, currency, and any applicable taxes or charges will be displayed at or before checkout.

If a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, or otherwise not successfully completed, premium access may be suspended or terminated.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically create a refund for a billing period that has already been charged.

Refund requests are handled under the ReelNovella Refund Policy available on reelnovella.com, subject to applicable law and any rights or procedures available through Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or consumer right that cannot legally be waived in your country or region.

9. Content, AI-Assisted Production, and Entertainment Purpose

ReelNovella content may be created, edited, enhanced, or otherwise produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence and other digital production tools. Characters, stories, dialogue, locations, and events may be fictional unless expressly stated otherwise.

The Service is provided for entertainment purposes. Fictional content should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, financial, or other specialist advice.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content – including videos, episodes, artwork, graphics, text, logos, branding, interface elements, characters, story materials, and other original materials – are owned by or licensed to ReelNovella and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited personal viewing right granted by these Terms, you may not copy, download, reproduce, record, republish, upload, distribute, sell, sublicense, publicly display, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from ReelNovella content.

You may not remove or alter copyright, trademark, watermark, rights-management information, or other proprietary notices.

11. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to: (a) bypass or defeat a paywall, access-control system, geographic restriction, or technical protection; (b) scrape, crawl, index, extract, or collect content by automated means except with our written permission; (c) interfere with security or operation of the Service; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or data; (e) distribute malware or malicious code; (f) use another person’s account without permission; (g) commit fraud or payment abuse; or (h) use the Service in violation of applicable law.

We may use reasonable technical measures to protect premium content and prevent abuse.

12. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the Service available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. The Service may be unavailable because of maintenance, technical failures, third-party outages, security incidents, internet conditions, or events outside our reasonable control.

We may modify, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of the Service, including individual novellas or episodes. Where reasonably practical, we will try to avoid unnecessary disruption to active paid users.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account or access to the Service if you materially violate these Terms, engage in fraud, attempt to bypass payment or access controls, create security risks, or use the Service unlawfully.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Subscription cancellation must be completed through the available billing or account-management process to stop future renewals.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination – including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute provisions – will survive.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment, hosting, video, analytics, authentication, and infrastructure providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not make warranties that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device, browser, connection, or third-party service.

Nothing in this section excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ReelNovella will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReelNovella’s aggregate liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the total amount paid for the Service by you during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.

17. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the ReelNovella Privacy Policy available on reelnovella.com. By using the Service, you acknowledge that personal information may be processed as described in that policy and by relevant third-party service providers.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on reelnovella.com with a revised "Last updated" date.

If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate or legally required. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires a different form of consent.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent mandatory consumer law in your place of residence provides otherwise.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the competent courts of the Republic of Armenia, except where applicable mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.

20. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a reorganization, sale, merger, financing, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any purchase terms shown at checkout, form the agreement governing your use of the Service.
