Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains cancellations, refund requests, and billing adjustments for paid ReelNovella subscriptions and other digital purchases.
1. Scope
This Refund Policy applies to purchases made for ReelNovella through our authorized payment provider. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
2. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel a recurring ReelNovella subscription at any time through the account or billing-management options made available to you. Cancellation prevents future renewals.
Unless a refund is approved or applicable law requires otherwise, cancellation does not retroactively refund charges already processed. Premium access normally remains available until the end of the paid billing period.
3. General Refund Rule
Because ReelNovella provides immediate access to digital entertainment content, subscription charges and other digital purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been provided, except as described below or where a refund is required by applicable law.
4. When We May Approve a Refund
We may approve a full or partial refund in reasonable cases, including:
- a duplicate or clearly incorrect charge;
- a billing error attributable to ReelNovella or our payment processor;
- a material technical problem that prevents access to paid content and cannot be resolved within a reasonable time;
- an unauthorized transaction, where appropriate after review; or
- another exceptional circumstance that we determine warrants a refund.
Refunds are not normally granted solely because a customer changed their mind, did not watch enough content, forgot to cancel before renewal, or did not personally enjoy a story, character, visual style, or other creative element.
5. How to Request a Refund
Submit your request through the Contact page on reelnovella.com as soon as reasonably possible after the charge. Include the email address used for the purchase, the approximate purchase date, and a brief explanation of the issue.
We may ask for additional information needed to identify the transaction or investigate the request. Do not send full payment-card details.
6. Lemon Squeezy
Payments for ReelNovella may be processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as Merchant of Record for the transaction. Approved refunds are processed through the payment system used for the original purchase.
Once a refund is issued, it may take up to 10 days to appear on your bank or card statement, depending on the payment method and financial institution.
7. Renewals and Unused Time
A cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not automatically create a refund for unused days in the current billing period. We do not normally provide prorated refunds for partially used subscription periods unless we expressly approve one or applicable law requires it.
8. Chargebacks and Unrecognized Charges
If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us promptly so we can investigate. Nothing in this policy prevents you from exercising rights provided by your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or applicable law.
9. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived. If the law applicable to you provides stronger rights than this policy, those mandatory rights will apply.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version published on reelnovella.com will state its effective date. Changes will not remove rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
